A dozen years or so the title was an absolute best-seller in Poznań, achieving a record 246 performances until all the costumes became worn out and the decorations were broken. Since that time we have been constantly asked by our loyal viewers when The Fiddler is returning to the stage. By preparing a new staging, directed and choreographed by Emil Wesołowski, with Ryszard Kaja’s scenography, we hope to break new popularity records.
